World’s best and newest fifth-generation fighter of the United States – the F-35 landed at the tarmac at Yelahanka Air Base in Bengaluru soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated Asia’s largest air show – the Aero India 2023 on Monday the 13th of February.

Held once in two every years, there is always an element of awe and surprise at the aero India shows. And current edition, the 14th in the sequence was not far behind.

Specially for the Aero India 2023, the United States Air Force (USAF) flew two versions of their stealth fighter jet F-35 form bases located at Hill Air Force Base in Utah and Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska.

The time around the theme of Aero India 2023 is “The Runway to a Billion Opportunities’. More than 80 countries along with 800 defence companies including around 100 foreign and 700 Indian companies are taking part at the aero show.

Addressing the gathering, Narendra Modi said that Bengaluru sky is bearing testimony to the capabilities of New India. “This new height is the reality of New India, today India is touching new heights and transcending them too”, the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister said that Aero India 2023 is a shining example of India’s growing capabilities and the presence of more than 100 nations at this event shows the trust that the entire world shows in India.

Referring to the Defence Minister’s Conclave and CEO Roundtable that is being organized along with the show, Modi said that active participation in the sector will enhance the potential of Aero India.
