Delhi has now gone into a Yellow Alert category with regard to re-emergence of  CoronaVirus COVID19 under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).

500 new COVID19 cases were reported on Tuesday, 28 December 2021.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal while announcing new restrictions said the step has been taken after positivity rate of new infection touched 0.89%.

Following is the check list of what is ‘allowed’ and ‘not allowed’ during the Yellow Alert period in the Capital.

Shops in malls and shopping complexes will be allowed to open  – based on an odd-even formula from 10 AM to 8 PM.

Only one weekly market per municipal zone will be allowed and that too with only 50 per cent of the vendors.

Restaurants are open but with 50 per cent capacity from 8 am to 10 pm.

Bars can also operate with 50 per cent capacity from 12 noon to 10 pm.

What is completely ‘shut’ are  – cinema halls, banquet halls, spas, gyms, outdoor yoga activity, amusement parks, stadia, swimming pools, schools, colleges and educational institutions.

Private offices can function with up to 50 per cent of the staff.

If at all the situation worsens in the coming days, then advanced stages of ‘Amber’, ‘Orange’ and ‘Red’ alerts could be imposed.
